Our Music Policy

Hey Roller Fam! We understand that a fantastic music playlist is essential for an enjoyable skating experience. That's why we're dedicated to providing our roller rink with fun, energetic, and most importantly, family-friendly music for everyone!

What Makes Our Playlist Special?

We aim to create a lively atmosphere where skaters of all ages—from little ones finding their balance to seasoned pros—can groove together without any concerns. Our music policy focuses on clean, positive vibes:

• Clean Lyrics Only: We carefully screen all songs to ensure there is no explicit language, derogatory terms, or suggestive content. If it wouldn't be suitable for a school dance, it won't be played at our rink!

• Diverse Genres: Enjoy a mix that spans decades and genres! We feature everything from classic disco hits and 80s pop anthems to clean, high-energy modern chart toppers. This variety ensures everyone finds a song they love.

• Appropriate Themes: We choose songs with themes of fun, dancing, friendship, and positive energy. We avoid music that promotes violence, illegal activities, or adult themes.

Specialist Music Nights / DJ Sessions

We host various skate events with DJs focusing on a specific music genre. Occasionally, the music may differ from our usual playlist, and we have limited control over the content. This might mean that sometimes a song or theme may not be suitable for young skaters. While we strive to ensure the music is appropriate for all age groups, we cannot guarantee that all music will be rated PG during specialist music nights.

18+ Skate Sessions

All skate sessions designed for those 18 and older have no profanity filter, and the music theme/genre will be tailored for adults only. We do not apologize for any offense this may cause. If you are easily offended, please attend any other skate session.

Digital Filters

RollerXpress employs digital filters to ensure explicit songs are excluded from our playlist. While we rely on this technology to keep the music appropriate for the age group, we will make every effort to temporarily pause the music and find a different playlist if necessary.
